I’m Tina, Cleanup Champion for Bristol.
My passion is educating young people at risk of antisocial behaviour to understand the importance of caring for our local environment. My background is in Community Development, but after I began studying for my Masters in Environmental Science I realised how hand in hand the environment is alongside community development. I now look for projects which give me a chance to advocate for both!
I keep all kinds of insects but my special interest with them is the detritivores which give us good healthy soil. I would like to use them more in the future to help people to understand the connections between caring for insects and their community.
I’m committed to using my network to provide as much opportunity as I can for groups and individuals to access what they need to look after their own community and environment.
