Billingham Tidy Group

We were formed in February 2020 and became formally constituted in 2023. Recently we collected our 15,000th refuse sack since formation. But since formation we've also collected very large objects that can't be bagged including suitcases, parts of bikes, parts of cars and many others. We do weekly group litter picks (usually 90 mins duration on Sundays) but our members also do their own on a solo basis any day of the week. We also do large scale litter picks outside our town in collaboration with other local community litter pickers. Our website contains links to all our social media platforms, YouTube channel and contact information. It also has links to maps of streets and non residential land that we have visited to litter pick so please visit it! Our policy is to invest any grants or donations we receive primarily in personal protective equipment and litter picking tools. Our group leader is a Keep Britain tidy litter picking ambassador.
