This litter-picking event took place as part of a CSR day supported by employer. The initiative was further supported by Falkirk Council, which provided materials and arranged the collection of the gathered waste.
We collected bags of litter, including decomposing plastics, household waste, tyres, construction materials, and a large amount of dog waste left in green spaces. Among the more unusual items found were children’s bikes, scooters, and cones.
The effort contributed to improving the local environment and raised awareness of responsible waste disposal within the community.

The litter was picked around the community of Maddiston. Most of the waste was disposed of in private bins amongst the neighbours.

This was the first action of this group! A medium bag was filled up with waste found at the Muiravonside Country Park. The waste collected included mostly cans, plastic bottles and wrapping plastic.
