Fleetwood Wombles

Fleetwood Wombles is a small but growing community group bringing people together to care for Fleetwood through litter picking.

We organise regular and one-off clean-ups, support local volunteers, and promote existing sessions across the town. Our aim is to make it easier for people to get involved, strengthen local clean-up efforts, and support community wellbeing and civic pride through visible, positive action.

We have two main meeting points, which we alternate between to make it easier for people to find us.

Birch Street, opposite Fleetwood Memorial Park main gates (What3Words: ///goats.joins.standards)

Blakiston Street, near the corner of Preston Street (What3Words: ///grin.conforms.cobble)

Our focus is simply on bringing people together to help care for Fleetwood. There is no formal membership and no obligation to attend regularly. Anyone is welcome to take part whenever they can.
