🚯Susan Couzens🚯 Took this photo on my way to town. Between a fence and wall through my usual cutthrough at the top of Osborne Road and Earlham Grove. Collected the security nets which cover alcohol bottles, where the alarms went off for a short while whilst walking into town🫣. There was also a nitrous? canister to do with catering which I left and an electric kettle. 🤔

🚯 Friends of Burnham Beach🚯 6 FOBB volunteers gave up their time on Wednesday evening to do some local litter picking. Loads of litter was collected- just look how full Marks car is!! Well done to them for working so hard to keep our part of Somerset looking lovely.

Thank you SO much everyone who joined our Milton community litter pick this morning! It was a beautiful day for a friendly activity - Together we we can make a difference ! 🙏🙏❤️ An amazing job - you can see how much litter 🚮🗑️we collected in a small area, in just a couple of hours ! Wouldn’t it be great to report that at our litter-pick next month we find no litter? 🤔 And thanks to Weston-super-Mare Town Council for the equipment- available to any community group). I’ll be letting them know where to collect the bags we filled !

🚯 Uphill Village Society🚯 Thank you to all those who took part in today’s Uphill Spring Clean. Around 20 bags of rubbish were cleared from the village streets and adjacent nature reserves. Sadly some areas will require further attention but today’s efforts have more than helped Keep Uphill Tidy and ready for the Easter Trail around the village on 4th April

🚯Susan Cooke🚯 I've been feeling out of salts lately (strange time of life!) Today restored some faith in humanity, and really made my 2026 so far. I was getting fresh air with the boys, litterpicking part of the beach when a stranger asked me if he could give me something. I assumed he meant litter to add to my growing waste bag. He explained he had helped a friend who insisted he take some fuel money, which he didn't want. He said he wanted to pass onto someone, and that was me! I tried to refuse, and was lost for words at the time, so offered a hug (he was a good hugger)! Thank you kind man, you have really helped xx 💚🚮🗑🌍🌊♻️
