We are an active and vibrant community centre in the heart of Radford catering for a diverse number of groups, ages and ethnicities. We are active in community engagement and are hoping to build a better and more supportive environment for all. Radford is a fairly deprived area and has a big litter and fly-tipping problem. We are hoping to encourage people to take a pride in their neighbourhood through various means including having community plant tubs, a community garden/allotment.

Our weekly Womble Around The Crez, never fails to yield surprise items. Along with the 11 bags were 1 back pack, 1 small luggage bag containing our first 3 'driver tizer' bottles, 1 parcel shelf, 2 pieces white plastic strips, 1 canister, 1 traffic cone and 1 small bag of vapes.

Our monthly joint litter pick with ChatCentral team (9) from community centre to Black Pad, Old Coventrians. The weather was all out of sorts with sunshine and soaking hailstorms.

Our weekly Womble Around The Crez, 3 pickers 5 bags. 2 bags from me on route Cheveral Ave & Capmartin Rd, 6 bags from 4 pickers off-piste as we went to Wallace Rd shops where I viewed the Sky Blue Parade, and back to Crez via Sadler, Foster & Telfer Rd. We made good initial use of HeHa the HH Duo trolley we won from Official Wombles Community Group and also Trevor the Trio Trolley. As well as 13 bags also a few broken tous, a number plate, a broken lawnmower box, kids suitcase, 6 canisters and a small bag of vapes, wiring and 3 blue smoke flares.

12 bags, 8 canisters, 1 bucket full of flytipped cupboard parts, a few larger, 1 small bag wiring & vapes, 1 aerosol and 1 pole. Additional 2 bags and 2 aerosols on Lydgate Rd earlier in the week from Roy. Vintage litter from the entry Sep 2016 drink can. Also sorted post-pick flytip of articicial grass onto the pile. We also see the completion of the maintenance work on Owenford Rd and the business/communal entry. Things can only get better

Today's regular Womble Around The Crez in PUSB attire. Newbie Lee joined John and I as we tackled the back alleys whilst Mary, Maria and Janis tackled the shopping circuit and grassland. Also 4 bags charity clothing dumped in the back alley gratefully returned to the shop.

Our regular Womble Around The Crez keeps on giving. In addition to the bags, 1 keyboard, 1 decorative wood, 1 small bag vapes and wiring, 1 crutch, 1 salvaged red plastic box and 1 pair of secateurs. Vintage litter 28 Feb 2011, from a recently cut back bramble area in the business entry. Watch this space we only touched the new surface....

Our weekly Womble Around The Crez, just the circuit as we decided to head along Owenford Rd to Outermarch Rd grot spot + then Joseph Cash school to the railway bridge that is heavily flytipped. Clearer than when I last went there but vintage litter 4 x crisp packets Also with the 12 bags is 1 xmas tree box filled with litter, 1 pole + 5 canisters.

As this week is Easter School Break we decided to do an extra stint along St. Nicholas Street to Coventry Canal Basin. Mary + granddaughter Ava joined me, Roy + John. On route we met with a local at Samuel Vale House clearing up local flytip area, and 2 Citizen litterpickers. A few other flytip spots noted.

Today we returned to Daimler Green to tackle the shrubs behind the community centre. 7 bags, 1 canister, 1 small bag vapes and batteries, 1 TV stand. I broke the trigger on my picker so in my annoyance delved into the back of one shrub up to the property wall. Vintage litter 2009.
