Lots of cans and bottles noticed by mum around the bench in the sea front garden outside of Imperial court. While out for a short walk on her rollator. She managed to clear them to the bin, by sitting on the bench and leaning down to pick them up and put them on the bench, then took a few at a time to the bin till she cleared them all. ❤️

Last day for Blitz the Butt today. Counted 68 more along Tower Road and 52 along Marine Parade in front of the hospital.

A concentrated pick today on a small patch of grass near the historic martello tower. this area, that has two picnic tables and another bench. There are two season waste wheelie bins and also two permanent council bins. Despite this i picked over 350 cigarette butts . This count is going towards the clacton Blitz the butt campaign count.

Took mum out today for a trundle around Queens Road and Queen Elizabeth Road but hardly any litter found. Very nice and neat there.
