Picking the 2 Seafront gardens I'm responsible for plus an extra 2 gardens and the prom. As well as the general litter we found lots of cans and bottles in a little drinking den area.
I also hid a couple of the lovely painted stones I'd previously found.

every time I go to the beach now I take a carrier bag with me. Some days there is a lot, other days not so much but I think five pieces of carelessly discarded pieces of rubbish is the least I have found!.

We went on a family walk and took ten minutes out to litter pick just one small section of beach at seawick as part of the local area guardian project. a random selection of items gathered and it felt good to do something positive whilst enjoying the beautiful coastline.

" This morning at 9am we headed down to our favourite beach for a little clean up. We all became beach guardians for the day, working together to pick up litter and make the shore look beautiful again. It felt so good to do something positive for the place we love. to top it all off, we celebrated our hard work with a well deserved dip in the sea.
Feeling proud, happy, and already planning the next one.

" This weeks litter pick was much easier, nowhere near as much rubbish as last week but still dozens of cigarette butts, a few bottles, sweet wrappers and ripped up leaflets from the school. And an 18 inch long piece of copper pipe. Random!"
