Thank you to those that’s joined today’s litter pick kindly organised and hosted by The Robin Hood - Clacton. We collected 8 sacks of litter and some other abandoned items including 5 vapes, a new potted house plant, plastic window trim, twenty cable ties, 146 cigarette butts and three abandoned trolleys
A beautiful sunny morning spent enjoying the outdoors and doing something positive in our community
The kit was borrowed from the CleanupUK hub at TPRS Tendring Primary Recycling Scheme .

we went along to Clacton beach tonight to help clean up after another hot and busy day . Five sacks of rubbish picked by two of us between Toby carvery and the pier, and we know the Clacton volunteer litter picking beach team collected many more too.
It’s such a beautiful coastline we have and it’s so therapeutic to visit it and be a part of positive action to help keep it safe and clean .
Thanks to TPRS Tendring Primary Recycling Scheme for the loan of the equipment they host from CleanupUK.

The Clacton police cadets completed a litterpick from Clacton Pier towards Holland . It was a Sunday evening after a hot summers days at the beach . The young people were fantastic, concentrating on collecting litter big and small .

We are doing our world beaver challenge badge and how we can help our world - we did a letter pick round the car park where we meet in Lawford - the beavers enjoyed using the pickers. We didn’t get loads of rubbish but it made the children aware.

What an incredible community effort today! 👏💚
Our first community litter pick at the Robin Hood, Clacton, was a fantastic success. A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their time to help make our town cleaner and greener.
Together, we collected an amazing 30 bags of litter, along with a couple abandoned trolleys, covering a large area of Great Clacton. The difference made in just a few hours shows what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared purpose.
A special thank you to every volunteer for your hard work, enthusiasm, and community spirit. Your efforts have made a real impact and set a wonderful example for others.
We’re excited to make this a monthly event, and we look forward to welcoming even more people next time. Every bag collected helps keep Clacton a place we can all be proud of.
