This evening I took advantage of road works having closed what’s usually a busy road, and I tackled the litter situation that’s been bugging me for some time .
Three sacks later and the road is now a lot less littered.

we went along to Clacton beach tonight to help clean up after another hot and busy day . Five sacks of rubbish picked by two of us between Toby carvery and the pier, and we know the Clacton volunteer litter picking beach team collected many more too.
It’s such a beautiful coastline we have and it’s so therapeutic to visit it and be a part of positive action to help keep it safe and clean .
Thanks to TPRS Tendring Primary Recycling Scheme for the loan of the equipment they host from CleanupUK.

We are doing our world beaver challenge badge and how we can help our world - we did a letter pick round the car park where we meet in Lawford - the beavers enjoyed using the pickers. We didn’t get loads of rubbish but it made the children aware.
